How to Claim with Swisscare

1

In an Emergency

Contact the Alarm Service immediately after the incident and before any consultation or treatment.

📞 Phone: +31 50 520 9780
✉️ Email: alarmservice@anker.nl

⚠️ This prior call is a fundamental obligation. Failing to do so may forfeit your right to claim unless you were in a life-threatening situation and could not reasonably notify them.

2

Advanced Payments

All expenses must normally be paid in advance by you.

Exceptions:

  • Hospital admission for inpatient treatment.
  • Search and rescue operations.

In these cases, give the insurer the hospital’s or authorities’ full contact details so they can issue a guarantee of payment.

3

Report and Submit the Claim Promptly

Report damage or costs as soon as possible using:

  • Your personal account at swisscare.com
  • The Swisscare app

Claims Department contact:

📞 Phone: +31 50 520 9974 (Mon–Fri, office hours)
✉️ Email: swisscare@goudse.com
4

Provide Required Documents

(within 365 days of the incident; beyond this, no reimbursement is possible)

  • Accident or police report / emergency service statements
  • Medical authorization if requested
  • Prescriptions and original invoices
  • Original booking or invoice (for travel)
  • Death certificate (if applicable)

Documents must be translated into English if not already, and the insurer may request originals even if scans were first accepted.

5

Bank Details for Reimbursement

Reimbursements are only paid to bank accounts. Include your bank information on the claim form.

6

Obligation to Cooperate

Provide any additional information or proof relating to the claim that may help clarify the incident or estimate its consequences.

Do not interfere with the claim’s handling without the insurer’s consent—doing so may suspend your contractual rights.
