Job Summary

ICD is looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in Lahore. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and supporting sales and marketing efforts across our range of educational services. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the education sector and a passion for driving impact through collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • 📊 Business Growth Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth across all ICD services, including teaching qualifications, study abroad programs, and exam preparation.
  • 🤝 Lead Generation & Client Engagement: Identify potential student leads and corporate clients; build and nurture strong relationships through consultative sales techniques.
  • 🔍 Market Research & Insights: Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs to refine growth strategies.
  • 📣 Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to align outreach campaigns with business objectives and to co-develop promotional materials and messaging.
  • 🌐 Partnership Development: Forge and manage strategic partnerships with schools, consultants, universities, and other institutions to widen ICD’s reach and influence.
  • 📈 Sales Performance & Reporting: Monitor sales pipelines and performance metrics; provide regular updates and forecasts to senior management with actionable insights.
  • 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Team Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and occasionally oversee junior business development or counseling staff to ensure goal alignment and operational efficiency.
  • 💼 Brand Representation: Represent ICD at education fairs, seminars, and networking events to promote services and build brand presence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management — preferably within the education or services sector.
  • Solid understanding of student recruitment, admissions, and market trends in education.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • English proficiency at B2 level (Upper Intermediate) or above.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
