Examination Officer - ICD Lahore

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and professional Examination Officer to join our Lahore team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and smooth execution of high-stakes computer-based examinations. This role requires exceptional vigilance, strong IT literacy, and a commitment to upholding strict security and confidentiality protocols. You will be a key figure in providing a fair and secure testing environment for all candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Exam Administration: Manage all phases of the examination process: pre-exam preparation, exam day invigilation, and post-exam procedures. Conduct pre-exam duties, including lab setup, IT systems checks, internet connectivity verification, and preparation of check-in materials and attendance lists. Ensure all necessary stationery and supplies are available and organized.
  • Compliance and Security: Strictly enforce all examination rules, regulations, and confidentiality protocols to maintain the integrity of the testing process. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all exam body regulations and successfully pass all related security assessments. Professionally manage and facilitate official exam audits and inspections.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for test takers, providing clear instructions and addressing inquiries with professionalism. Liaise effectively with management and external examination bodies via email and phone calls. Collaborate with and provide support to teams at our other centers (Karachi and Islamabad) as required.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Accurately prepare and maintain all required documentation, including post-exam reports, attendance registers, candidate declarations, incident logs, and CCTV records. Keep all administrative records updated, including exam software versions, schedules, and test taker data.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Residency: Must be a resident of Lahore. Proximity to the exam center is highly advantageous.
  • Communication: Proficiency in English (B2 level or equivalent) is mandatory. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be assessed.
  • IT Competency: Solid IT knowledge is essential, including the ability to run computer-based exams, perform pre-test diagnostics, and troubleshoot basic software/hardware issues.
  • Flexibility: Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule. This includes early morning starts (as early as 7:00 AM) and late finishes, depending on the exam schedule.
  • Professionalism: A high degree of integrity, vigilance, and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience invigilating high-stakes, computer-based examinations will be considered a significant advantage.

Important Note: Security and Vetting

Due to the secure nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to:

  • Sign a non-disclosure and employment contract.
  • Submit original academic transcripts for verification.
  • Provide two verifiable professional references that will be contacted.
